RAW WOOD
After many years of playing, buying and collecting guitars, I still havent found what I am looking for! That is: I never found the perfect dreamguitar. Many times I was holding the suppossedly ultimate Guitar in my hands and still ending up changing my mind every 2 month or so ( And yes! I have collected a lot of guitars through the years)
Next step: I devised into collecting different Guitar parts and learning how to put them together. After a while, I also started to do my own paintjobs on them. I have, through the years, learned a lot about why guitars sound like they do. Wood combinations, size of Body and Neck…The best electronics. And up to who is the best provider of classy sounding Pickups ( More on that later)
Personally I prefer a guitar capable of going from a deep breathing sound up to a good twangy treble. For that I need huge necks, creating that extra sustain I look for - and they help my fingers to get around the neck with ease. The pure maple neck also gives that extra bite at the top end. So as standard all Falles guitars comes with a quite substantial all maple neck. Off course you can decide your own neck profile, fretwire and radius when ordering a guitar, if you may wish to do so.
RAW PAINT
I have owned Gretsch guitars - Beautiful as a Cadillac!.. Owned relic’ed – and original old - Fender guitars, Custom Shop Gibsons, ES 340’ies …and quite frankly; I love them all … for some time at least. But Still missing that extra catch when you are on a Stage. That the look of the guitar also is part of the sound expressed.
When I do a paintjob, I try to make the colors vibrate on the guitar as if it was sound vibrating… The extra soundhole is not only for the good looks - but my take on a Guitar Trepanation! It opens up the sound on the guitar.. Well thats my thing on sound and paint... Its also OK if you don’t care about the META thing – But just like the colors and the Paintjob.
Each Guitar is painted by hand in unique and different colors.
RAW MUSIC
I found Creamery Pickups made by Jaime Campbell in the UK to be the most perfect sounding Pickups around.. They are true to the word: RAW MUSIC. I call them Pickups which are Grown Up. They left childhood years ago, they are mature and can play any genre you throw at them. What a classy sound!
